Boat & Outdoor Fair

Lighthouse Events is organising an interesting event which will be launched and promoted through a media campaign in the few weeks. This is the Boat & Outdoor Fair which will take place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12th May opening from 10.00am to 8.00pm on each date.

They have chosen one of Malta's great seaside venues - Splash & Fun Water Park, to host the event before opening for the 2013 season. The venue itself offers wide open spaces for exhibitor stands and display areas, a super seaside location, a pleasant ambience as well as lots of free parking, catering facilities and entertainment.

This two day Event is themed around the forthcoming Summer season and is targeted at a broad audience offering a wide variety of Summer proposals for the whole family.

Naturally the success of any such event depends greatly on the participation and variety of exhibitors, and these have confirmed their participation thus ensuring a great weekend.

 Boat and Outdoor Fair

Please view the pictures which will give a general feel of the set up. The organisers are concentrating on sea and outdoors for the summer with a large display area for boats and seacraft ranging from small dinghies, jetskis, windsurfers, ribs, sailing boats/dinghies, and other types of boats, outboards and equipment, which can be displayed either on dry land or in the lagoon (625 sq m x 2m deep). The picture above shows a general plan of how the show will be organised, while the picture below shows an impression of how the show will look like.

Other summer-related leisure activities and sports such as scuba diving centres, sailing clubs, fishing stores, travelling and camping and adventure in general will also be found.

For those interested in exhibiting, there are two basic options:
• 4mx4m display area (under canopy) ideal for small displays or promotional stands
• 100 sq m blocks /or lagoon space for crafts/large exhibits.

The company can also accommodate other arrangements to suit anybody's needs, bigger, smaller or just different. They are open to your requests and ideas within reason. Feel free to suggest.

The fair will also be providing entertainment for children and youngsters including the Parks permanent play area, water pools/kids' slides, animators, face painting, ice-cream stalls etc. and possibly tethered hot air balloon and parascending rides - for the more adventurous, scuba trial lessons in the pool and much more.

Another great attraction would certainly be the latest in water sports, the Flyboard. Demonstrations wil be done at various times throughout the Fair with the possibility for those who would like to try it out to have their wish granted.

This event is intended to provide a showcase for a wide range of affordable propositions which can appeal to the broad public and different age groups, and the organisers are expecting a good attendance.
