A new video posted to YouTube by user delphine shows the man hovering above the ground on a Flyboard Air, which uses air pressure to levitate, as opposed to the wheeled "hoverboards" that have become popular with consumers.
The attempt drew a large crowd of onlookers to the parking lot in Sausset-les-Pins.
The Flyboard Air was developed by Zapata Racing, which set a world record when founder Franky Zapata took one of the models for a flight of nearly 1-1/2 miles.
